The Dayton SCORE Chapter’s mission is to provide high-quality professional volunteer mentoring and educational services to develop and grow successful small businesses (For Profit and Nonprofit businesses) in our service area one business at a time while maintaining a sound financial position.

The Dayton SCORE Chapter partners with communities within our 11-county area. In addition, we partner with the SBA. SBDCs, and community and state agencies to improve support for our clients. The Chapter serves as a resource to local chambers of commerce, Better Business Bureau, local libraries, high schools, and institutions of higher learning.

Our territory includes the following counties in Ohio: Montgomery, Greene, Preble, Darke, Miami, Clark, Mercer, Auglaize, Logan, Shelby, Champaign, and the northern edges of Butler and Warren.

Dayton SCORE Chapter Organization

The Dayton Chapter of SCORE was founded in 1970 as a nonprofit volunteer organization to assist the small business administration in helping grassroots businesses to start and grow in the Dayton area. We are one of 389 chapters nationwide. Because of financial support from local community organizations and businesses we are able to offer our services and products at no charge to the public.
